Tuesday was the day to welcome Melody aboard Crystal Serenity and then depart to begin my journey home. It was good to see her and have some time to catch up and download. Around 5:00 we went up to the Lido deck for ice cream and a short visit with Brian and Judy. Brian snapped this photo as proof we were both in Cape Town, on the job (sort of!) and far, far from home. I finally left the ship around 8:30p and transferred to Cape Grace, truly the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen. The decor is so much to my liking - botanicals, old maps, historic objects, hand painted fabrics. Take a look. What a privilege to spend the next three nights here.
