Fresh fruit juice
There are juice bars everywhere. This was a blend of orange and papaya we got at the base of the Christ statue.

Cheese Bread
This is a local favorite. It’s a light little puff about the size of a donut hole, but baked, not fried. It has a great cheesy taste.

Coconut water
I’ve seen and heard about coconut water ever since our day in St. Lucia. Somehow, in Rio it looked very odd to me to see people in a bustling city, dressed in business suits and carrying green coconuts the way we would see people carrying Starbucks cups and Big Gulps.
