I did it. Woke up at 5:45 in the AM threw on my clothes, brushed my hair and teeth, slapped on a little makeup and flew out the door to see Rio at sunrise. I was so proud of myself. Jesse says he was up at 5. We joined maybe 75 other people on the front observation decks to watch Rio pass before us. Sugar Loaf. The statue of Christ the Redeemer. Beaches. Boats. Ferries. Birds. High rise downtown. Hotels. Oil rig platforms. Bridges. Airport. Sun. Sand. Water.
By 7:30a the day was irreversably awesome! I have just a few minutes to get ready and then off to explore.
