Miami is having record cold temps

I got off to an inauspicious start. I did not arrive in time to check my bags for the 9:00a flight at DFW (there's a 40 min prior to flighttime cut off), so I waited at the airport and got on the 1:00p flight as a standby. I saw 4 cruise ships from the plane as we were approaching Miami Airport and I think I saw OUR ship. Even from the air they all look huge. The Mandarin Oriental Miami hotel is absolutely beautiful. Follow this link and watch the pictures change on the website. The night picture could have been taken from my balcony. Thats right - balcony. :) Tomorrow we board the ship around 3:00p. I have 2 big suitcases, one smaller suitcase, one big purse, and 3 boxes to carry on. Jesse has 3 big bags and one smaller bag. From what a hotel employee told me, other hotel guests who are also going on this cruise have an even larger number of bags. Boarding with all our "stuff" should be a challenge.
